About Ramco
Ramco Solutions specializes in millwright, fabrication, and equipment installation for food-grade processing plants. We’re looking for a Field Foreman to lead field crews and ensure high-quality, efficient project execution.
Position Overview
The Field Foreman is responsible for overseeing installation projects, interpreting blueprints, managing crews, and coordinating with engineering and project management to ensure timely, safe, and accurate execution.
Key Duties
- Read and interpret blueprints; coordinate with engineering on field adjustments
- Lead crew in setting conveyors and equipment per design specs
- Lead crew in installing utilities for equipment
- Ensure trucks/trailers are properly loaded before job start
- Maintain clean, stocked, and functional work trucks
- Communicate with Project Manager to keep projects on track
Requirements
- 3+ years of millwright/installation experience (food-grade preferred)
- Strong blueprint reading and crew leadership skills
- Mechanically inclined with knowledge of conveyor/equipment installs
- Clean driving record and willingness to travel
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities

Ramco Solutions, a family-owned and operated company, is looking for a detail-oriented and motivated individual to join our Engineering Department in Laurel, DE. We pride ourselves on being a family-friendly workplace, offering a supportive environment that values work-life balance, teamwork, and craftsmanship.
This role involves producing accurate technical drawings, building and editing 3D models in Autodesk Inventor, and preparing documentation for custom equipment design and fabrication.
Responsibilities:
- Draft detailed 2D drawings for fabrication and installation
- Create and modify 3D models for components and assemblies using Inventor
- Prepare complete documentation packages for shop and customer use
- Collaborate with engineering, fabrication, and field teams to deliver effective solutions
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor (primary modeling tool) or Solidworks
- Experience with AutoCAD
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Preferred:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Design, Drafting, or related field (not required)
